RECOVERY OPERATIONS TEAM TRAINING

Are you looking for a way to help communities trying to recover from disaster? Do you have the flexibility and availability to move to a community for a length of time (1 month to 18 months)? Our Recovery Operations Team Leads are trained to effectively implement a recovery strategy to help with rebuilding efforts and use their compassion and faith to connect and serve communities.

WHY: To create a team of disaster leaders that oversee rebuilding and recovery efforts of a community following a disaster.

WHAT: 3 days of training, a mix of classroom and hands-on, to qualify you to join a recovery operations team

HOW MUCH: Prices start at $250/per person.  Food and lodging included.

This training weekend provides an understanding of Crisis Relief and Recovery's values, culture and desire to serve, alongside our proven system adapted from high-level military operations and strategic planning.

The format of the training includes both classroom/seminar style and practical hands-on training at an operating Recovery Operations Center.  You will stay in bunk-style accommodations and eat meals with work teams.  To ensure we include all topics necessary, it will be full days (and some evenings) of content and parts of your training will be conducted around the neighborhood.
